Maybe take some photos of standard connectors: 9-pin Serial, Parallel, Printer, USB (including the mini-end that goes into cameras), Firewire and... say, speaker mini-plugs. Then publish them on your photo galleries in the "PC Guts" gallery at: http://www.latenightpc.com/photos/index.php?cat=6 Wouldn't take too long... maybe 15-20 minutes of your life.
