Getting real use out of Forums

I was thinking of setting up real forums for LateNightPC. I could easily just post articles that way, instead of having the pages I do now. I'm not sure tho. I could also try php-nuke, which is a package that I think is meant to handle a site that has forums and other stuff on it. How about setting up a gateway between the two forums? Kind of like the way web-rings work.
