It's that time of year, the kids are getting out of school and they need something to do while you're at work. Here are a couple ideas for people living in Windsor. Some I've tried, some I haven't.

The U isn't cheap, but they usually run a wide variety of activities, and the kids like the unique environment of the campus. The most popular camp weeks have to be the Harry Potter themed ones. In other day camps they've run kids can put on a play, build a web site, or study a multitude of subjects from robots to forensics. Friday afternoon the kids usually give a presentation for the parents to attend.

Looks like they have a lot of options. I haven't tried it personally, but they've been running the camp for years so they must be doing something right.

Leisure and recreation (as the city web site calls it) is a great standby where ever you live in the city.

The gymnastics camps run through summer vacation and have a field trip each week. I'm going from what it's been the past few years, but I expect it'll be similar this year. Part of the day the kids also do some gymnastics type activity and part of the day they do some crafts or games. I think this one is a great value.
Feel free to talk about your experiences at these places or other ones you can recommend in and around the city.
