Just noticed that http://www.flipcode.org/ is back up. Here's a [url=http://www.flipcode.org/cgi-bin/fcarticles.cgi?show=3&id=64189]nice image of the day[/url] from one of the developers over there. Looks like it's based off of the direct 3d examples but includes a lot of custom shaders.
