Game Design Considerations for Alternate Controllers sounds like a pretty huge area to cover. When I think alternate controllers, I think of steering wheels, pedals, flight yokes, iris tracking, chorded keyboards, dance mats, Eye Toy, strategic commander, and tilt switches embedded in game cartridges.
